My best format for interaction?
That must be a format serving a well-defined purpose. Because interaction is a tool to achieve better meeting outcomes, it is not an end in itself.
An important purpose of many meetings is learning, and here interaction is used underwhelmingly. People learn best by working together on content and exchanging their experiences, ideas and opinions while doing that.
So: instead of presenting, use your expert speakers as a resource in a game. Ask them to deploy their know-how to develop a gamified environment and get your participants to play the game together. Games are fun and — if designed well — they easily engage everyone. Your experts can be referees, commentators, post-match analysts, etc. And games work best if played physically on a real, life-size playing field or board — not electronically.
