Course Description

Traditional presentations often stop at “knowing”. They rarely go far enough to create meaningful behavioural change. This course uses carefully selected, internationally awarded case films, combined with professional facilitation techniques, to translate complex ESG regulations, AI transformation, and global competitive shifts into an experience that creates emotional resonance and prompts action. We do not simply help employees hear about trends. We help them see, through film, what transformation could mean for their own organisation.

Three Highlights

  1. Guided translation: through professional facilitation, complex external trends are made accessible and translated into business language that employees can understand and use.
  2. From awareness to action: move beyond slogans and instruction. Use the sensory impact of film to activate employees’ own motivation for transformation.
  3. Cross-departmental alignment: help departments with different perspectives, such as R&D, marketing, and HR, align around a shared view of the future.

Modules

In this training, we cover:

  • Decoding global shifts: unpack the essential knowledge behind the ESG trend, AI-driven business transformation, and change management in a volatile world.
  • Viewing international benchmark cases: explore selected international sustainability films, ESG practices from the technology sector, and transformation stories from cultural brands.
  • Calibrating organisational empathy: use structured interpretation of film-based cases to align cross-departmental understanding of future opportunities and threats.
  • Introducing transformation energy through facilitation: use guided questions to turn external trends and pressures into internal business language, shared understanding, and actionable direction.

Course Objectives

  1. International cases: analyse how leading global companies translate trends such as sustainability, ESG and AI into concrete business practices.
  2. Global transformation trends: understand the new rules of international markets shaped by mandatory ESG disclosure, net zero transition, and competition in AI technology.
  3. Building change management capability: establish a systematic understanding of Change Management, and learn how to turn complex external pressure into an internal driver for cultural transformation.

Who is it for? Who is it NOT for?

This course is for: junior, mid-level and senior employees, newly established ESG or innovation task forces, and professionals in marketing, HR and strategy departments.

This course is not for: those who only pursue data reports, or technical specialists working in isolation who do not recognise the impact of organisational culture and soft power on business operations.

Professional and Organisational Impact

For individuals: participants gain a stronger understanding of international ESG, AI, and business trends, and strengthen their resilience and adaptability in a changing global environment.

For organisations: the course significantly reduces the “cognitive resistance” often encountered when rolling out an annual strategy. It helps employees build shared understanding around transformation goals, and uses facilitated questioning to turn external trends into internal business language and practical momentum.

What are we going to do in class?

  1. Immersive Storytelling: Selected award-winning sustainability films and AI transformation cases from Cannes and leading global technology companies, such as Apple and TSMC, are used for in-depth guided viewing. Through the film experience, participants develop emotional resonance and a sense of urgency around regulations and trends.
  2. Gamified Interaction: Digital tools such as Kahoot are used for quick knowledge checks and energising competitive activities, helping participants absorb otherwise dry regulatory and technology related knowledge in a lively and memorable way.
  3. Facilitated Reflection: an experienced facilitator leads the group through core questions designed around the films. Through group discussion, participants connect international cases to everyday internal business scenarios, reducing gaps in understanding between departments.
  4. Awareness Post-Test: Pre-course and post-course questionnaires are used to measure growth in participants’ trend awareness and transformation mindset, providing a foundation for future project implementation.

Traditional talks often stop at knowledge transfer and rarely drive behavioural change. The core of SCT Future Cinema lies in professional facilitation and scenario translation. We do not simply watch videos. Through structured interpretation and guided discussion, we translate complex external ESG and AI trends into business language that can be acted upon inside the organisation.

Regulations and trends are often dry and difficult to understand, which can easily create gaps in comprehension across an organisation. The sensory impact of immersive film breaks the monotony of one-way communication. It creates emotional resonance and a sense of urgency around global change, opening up genuine organisational alignment at the level of awareness.

It will be a crucial starting point for awareness. Through digital interaction tools such as Kahoot, together with pre- and post-session analysis, we can quickly establish a shared organisational language and measure participants’ growth in knowledge and shifts in attitude. This paves the way for strategy implementation at a later stage.

Very much so. This module uses selected world-class cases from platforms such as the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. It helps companies facing pressure from global supply chains, including RBA and DEI expectations, build the sustainability narrative and transformation perspective needed to align with international clients.

Meet Your Guide

Irene Wu

Hello, I am Irene. In the process of helping more than 20 listed companies introduce ESG and sustainable brand strategies, I discovered that the hardest part of corporate transformation is not writing the report. It is breaking down departmental silos so that every employee can genuinely feel why change matters. If employees do not identify with the change, transformation remains only a slogan. Only when inner resonance is created can a company generate real transformational power.

I want to share this experience because I have seen too many companies struggle to implement strategies due to gaps in understanding.

I will bring my practical experience of guiding multinational companies to align their annual strategies, and combine it with film, interactive tools, and facilitation methods. Together, these translate complex ESG issues and innovation strategies into warm, human storytelling and design thinking. I will not only teach you knowledge. I will help you learn how to use influential communication, so that sustainability becomes one of the strongest co-creation capabilities in your organisation.
